Whether you’re a confident beginner or looking to deepen your craft, SMFC offers monthly projects designed to inspire and challenge you.

  • Founding members pay £15 per month. Regular pice is £18 per month.

  • It’s all online, so you can join from anywhere – just bring your machine and your favourite cuppa.

  • Materials lists are provided monthly, with affordable, accessible and upcycle options.

  • You can spend as much or as little time as you like — that’s the beauty of an online membership! Everything is designed to fit around real life, not take it over.

    Each monthly project is broken down into manageable steps and usually takes around 3–4 hours to complete. You can do it all in one weekend or spread it out in small chunks across the month. The Skills Lab tutorials are short and focused, so you can dip in and build confidence without needing hours of uninterrupted sewing time.
